Reflow soldering

Development stage of reflow welding technology:

According to the continuous improvement of heat transfer efficiency and welding reliability, reflow welding can be divided into five stages.

First generation

Hot plate conduction reflow welding equipment: the slowest heat transfer efficiency ,5-30 W/m2K( different material heating efficiency is different), there is shadow effect.

Second generation

infrared thermal radiation reflow welding equipment: the heat transfer efficiency is slow ,5-30 W/m2K( different material infrared radiation efficiency is different), there is shadow effect, the color of components has a great impact on the heat absorption.

Third generation

Hot air reflow welding equipment: heat transfer efficiency is relatively high ,10-50 W/m2K, no shadow effect, color has no effect on heat absorption.

Fourth generation

Gas reflux welding system: high heat transfer efficiency ,200-300 W/m2K, no shadow effect, welding process needs to move up and down, cooling effect is poor.

Fifth

Vacuum steam condensation welding (vacuum vapor phase welding) system: closed space without hole welding, the highest heat transfer efficiency of 300 W-500W/m2K.. The welding process remains static without vibration. The cooling effect is excellent, and the color has no effect on the heat absorption.
